Sep 23, 2022     Rt Wing fabricate wing walk re-enforce sheet - (2 hours)       Category: Wings
This doesn't look like i've made any progress...but actually there is a top skin walk sheet there under the wing skin (not in plans, 0.025") that I'm implementing in order to re-enforce the skin on the first 4 ribs where you walk in order to get in the plane. I used the walk sheet from the left wing as a template, since it's exactly correct for either wing, and cut another out for the right wing, however I didn't use the drill holes that are drilled in the left wing's since they don't exactly match the RT wing (dang close...maybe some of them are 1/4 hole off-center). I had only initially drilled the top skin every other hole with the #20 so that i'd still have the small pilot holes to drill- through the walk sheet for line up. Does this make sense? If I didn't drill the holes with the sheet under the wing skin, how else would i be able to find the skin pilot holes that the factory made?
